Planning & Zoning

The Planning and Zoning Division is responsible for assisting with zoning changes, subdivisions, variances, and annexations of property.

Through the zoning process, the city attempts to ensure compatible land use patterns by minimizing conflicts between uses, thereby protecting property values and enhancing the urban environment.

The Division is also responsible for the long-range planning of the city and for ordinance development.
